Classes are taught with an emphasis on learning. Imagery and anatomical information help the adult student to understand clear movement mechanics. Classes begin with a thorough warm-up and culminate in well-prepared, dynamic center floor work. Open classes also focus on correct placement with an emphasis on style and musicality. To participate in open classes, one must be 15 years of age or have permission from the director. You may drop in or purchase multiple class cards for all open classes. For further information, please click on the School Year Schedule link above. A minimum of four students must be present to run a class, and classes are subject to a 30-student maximum. Intermediate Level Pointe Class

TUITION: Quarterly (9 weeks):
2 pointe classes/week: With Credit Card – $174  /  With Check or Cash $170
1 pointe class/week: With Credit Card – $97 /  With Check or Cash $95

This intermediate level pointe class is geared towards students who have had at least one consecutive year of experience en pointe. Class will begin at the barre with strengthening exercises that will primarily face the barre but as the class progresses will also include exercises with one hand support. The second half of the class in center will include more basic pointework with eleve, releve, and piques onto pointe both on two legs and on one. An emphasis will be placed on descending from pointe with control and balance, correct alignment and movement mechanics. This will be an ongoing class for the school year (36 weeks) however students registering after the first quarter has begun must have approval to enroll in this class by the instructor.

This is a beginning level ballet class for Teens (13 yrs. minimum) and adults who are interested in exploring the basics of ballet technique in an encouraging environment with professionally trained instructors. Classes are taught with an emphasis on learning and steps are broken down clearly and logically. This will be an ongoing class for the school year (36 weeks) however students may register by enrolling quarterly (9 weeks).
